EU adopts definitive anti-dumping duties on Chinese headless steel screws

On 22 October 2025, the European Commission adopted the definitive anti-dumping regulation on imports of headless iron or steel screws from China.

The measure is established under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2153, published in the Official Journal of the EU on 23 October 2025.

The duties apply to products under HS codes 7318 15 42 and 7318 15 48, at rates of up to 72.3 % of the CIF customs value.
The definitive duties are retroactively applied from 19 March 2025, following the prior import registration period.

Provisional ant-dumping duties imposed since June 2025 are now confirmed and will be definitively collected. Importers who paid at the provisional (lower) rate may face an additional charge.
